Construction Playbook Updated with MMC Guidance Note

The UK Government believes that the uptake of MMC will help to drive greener, faster and better construction projects.
MMC or Modern Methods of Construction is a wide reaching term to describe a range of offsite and on-site techniques that improve productivity, efficiency, health & safety and quality.
The cabinet office has published guidance notes as a follow-up to the Construction Playbook that was first published in December 2020.
The 22 page guidance note promotes the use of MMC and sets out procurement best practise to maximise the use of MMC.
The Modern Methods of Construction Guidance Note is available on the Cabinet Office's Construction Playbook website with the updated Playbook version 1.1.
